As an Educational Developer, my primary responsibility is to assist in planning and developing pedagogical strategies while supporting faculty with the tools necessary to enhance teaching and learning. I also facilitate professional development sessions for new instructors and graduate students dedicated to building their pedagogical competencies, aiming to create meaningful learning experiences for our students.
I am particularly interested in utilizing technology in the classroom and leveraging social media applications to foster community and increase student engagement in their learning process, all while promoting a sense of belonging. Supportive and effective learning environments are essential for student success. I strive to work with educators interested in creating inclusive and dynamic spaces that support diverse learning styles and encourage collaboration.
