Established to recognize artistic and academic achievement, the awards highlight excellence in artistic production, intellectual curiosity, innovative research, and creative initiative. Awards encompass all facets of the Department of Art, such as recognition for Excellence in Art History & Museum Studies, Art Studio, Printmaking, Drawing, Spatial Practice, Indigenous Art History and Museum Studies, Indigenous Art Studio, and more. Students are recognized by faculty of the Department of Art during the Annual Art Open House, or at the Faculty of Fine Arts Vibe Fest, showcasing their works and celebrating their success!
