Experience the art of lost wax bronze casting using the modern casting facilities in the Faculty of Fine Arts at the 免费福利资源在线看片 of Lethbridge. In this very hands-on course, take your ideas from wax to bronze and experience all stages in the casting process.
Students will bring and/or develop a small artwork in wax (to be cast in wax) and then will take these waxes all the way through the lost-wax casting process. They will finish with a patinated, cast bronze piece to take home.
No previous casting experience is required. Minimum age is 18 years old. Please note this is a non-credit course offering.
*Two pounds of bronze is included in the course fee; additional bronze is at a cost of $20 per pound.
