Faculty of Fine Arts Volunteer Opportunities

Sign up at the U of L Box Office (Level 5 Centre for the Arts) to usher for all Faculty of Fine Arts ticketed productions or concerts. Ushers can see the show for free! Sign-up starts at the beginning of each term and is open until all usher spots are filled. Ushers are expected to arrive one hour prior to showtime to attend an orientation with the Front of House Manager, and will rip tickets, hand out programs and help patrons navigate to their seats. Ushers are expected to stay for the full duration of each performance they've signed up for.
Student for a Day Host

The Student for a Day program is an opportunity for a current student to host a prospective student interested their Fine Arts program. Being a host would mean having a 鈥渟hadow鈥 for the day to show/tell them all the wonderful things about your program, attend your classes, answer questions etc. They will also have meetings scheduled with relevant Faculty and/or staff for more detailed questions. Hosting only occurs October - November and February - March.

Galt Museum Volunteers

Now, this is where you come in! We are looking for positive and upbeat volunteers to join our Visitor Services crew! We鈥檙e going to need your help assisting customers in the Museum Store and providing basic interpretation of the Galt grounds and exhibit. Other tasks may include completing Visitor Surveys, answering phones, assisting with inventory, stocking shelves and more! We鈥檙e hoping that with your help, the Museum Store will continue to grow and strive!
