Oki, and welcome to the Faculty of Education. Our Blackfoot name is Iiniookaksini, meaning Bison Wisdom. The Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ of Lethbridge, Iniskim, is located in traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Indigenous Peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ community.

Fluent in many perspectives. Prepared for every classroom.

At ULethbridge, you’ll gain more than a degree – you’ll gain the confidence, experience and perspective to inspire every kind of classroom. Our Faculty of Education offers one of the most immersive teacher education programs in Canada, with 27 weeks of hands-on classroom experience – more than twice the requirement for Alberta certification. You’ll graduate qualified to teach at both the elementary and secondary levels, opening doors across Alberta, Canada and the world.
