Oki. Welcome to the Faculty of Education. Our Blackfoot name is Iiniookaksini, meaning Bison Wisdom.
The Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ of Lethbridge, Iniskim, is located in traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Indigenous Peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ community.

This career fair brings together over 150 student teachers from the Faculty of Education, in their final semester, along with all Fall PSIII students on campus, who are ready to make a difference in the classroom.

career-ready teachers
The Faculty of Education prepares students for the realities of the classroom long before they get there. Undergraduate students complete more than 1,000 practicum placements each year, spending 27 weeks total out in the field — more than twice the amount required for teacher certification in Alberta. The result? Grads who stand out to school divisions because they're ready to hit the ground running and roll with the rigours of lesson planning and classroom management.
