Graduation Procedures
At the end of this journey, you can apply for teacher certification to teach Kindergarten to Grade 12 in the Province of Alberta.
The Faculty of Education hosts a Graduation Zoom Presentation each term which walks you through the timelines to fulfill Graduation, Certification and Teacher Qualification Services requirements.
The presentation takes place in October for those that are completing degree requirements in December. Students that are completing requirements in April/August (Summer Completers), the presentation will take place in February. If you are completing Professional Semester III in your final semester, you will automatically get an invite to the presentation. If you are registered in regular courses in your final term, you had the opportunity to attend the presentation while in PS III, but if you would like a refresher, please email edu.sps@uleth.ca to get on our invite list.
