SGS Professional Development offers opportunities to gain professional skills that support a solid foundation for employment and workforce success in any industry. You can receive experiential education credit for many SGS Professional Development opportunities on the , giving you a competitive edge in the workforce. The professional skills framework utilized by the School of Graduate Studies was researched and development by the Canadian Association of Graduate Studies (CAGS) and works to support a national standard and language for professional skills.

The Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) is a national charity established in 2013 with the mandate of building a more inclusive Canada, as part of that mandate training in various areas of EDI is offered to scholars at ULethbridge to support their research.
