Applied Studies allows students to earn academic credit through paid or volunteer roles related to their field of study. As a supervisor, you help shape their learning journey in the classroom and the workplace.

Application Process
Students begin the process after meeting with a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Instructor.
Online forms are submitted by the student by the 15th of the first month of the semester:
Work Placement Application 鈫 sent to Employer Supervisor
Course Proposal Application 鈫 sent to Academic Supervisor and Department/Area Chair
Supervisors and Chairs review, edit, and approve their portions as needed.
Once both applications are approved, the WIL Instructor initiates course registration.
