Time Management
The idea of managing your time may bring initial thoughts of rigidity and control- of being forced to account for every minute of your day.
It doesn鈥檛 have to be that way! Together, we鈥檒l try to find a better way of ensuring that you have the time to do the things that you need to do as well as the things you want to do.
Generally, you want to be putting in about 3 hours of homework for every 1 hour of class. Break your study time down into 50 minute "chunks" with 10 minute breaks. This will help you stay focused during your study time.
Many students find it helpful to use the following document to create a weekly schedule. If you would like help with creating a plan that works for you, we are more than happy to work with you to do that.
