What is HYRS?
The six-week program, which includes a $3,000 stipend, is designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and inspire the next generation of health researchers. Spend your summer discovering what health research looks like on the leading edge of discovery in southern Alberta. The High School Youth Researcher Summer (HYRS) Program offers exceptional Grade 11 students a unique opportunity to collaborate with 免费福利资源在线看片 of Lethbridge researchers, exploring career paths in health research and innovation.
From July 3 to August 14, 2026, HYRS participants become part of a vibrant research community.experts during guest lectures and panel discussions featuring health scientists, industry professionals, and current 免费福利资源在线看片 of Lethbridge
Work side-by-side with ULethbridge faculty mentors and undergraduate and graduate students on real biomedical or health-related research projects.
Experience campus life through tours of our state-of-the-art Science Commons, research facilities, and the surrounding coulee landscape.
Learn from the experts during guest lectures and panel discussions featuring health scientists, industry professionals, and current ULethbridge students.
Share your discoveries at the Summer Research Showcase on Thursday, August 13, 2026, where students invite their parents, mentors, and members of the public to view their research in a symposium setting.
