Identification
It is always a good idea to carry a piece of photo identification with you, but we recommend that you leave your passport at home in a safe place whenever you do not require it for something specific.
If you do not have alternate ID, such as a driver's license, you can apply for an at so that you can use that ID card instead of carrying around your passport.
When you go to the registry office, you should bring the following documents:
- Passport
- Study permit
- A from the Bridge under the 鈥淪tudent鈥 menu.
- Proof of Alberta residence (such as your lease agreement, a bill with your address, etc.)
- If you do not yet have a document with your address on it, please let us know.
Note: An Alberta ID card is for identification purposes only and does not permit you to operate a vehicle.

The uLethbridge Student ID card is used as your primary identification to show that they have active status within the 免费福利资源在线看片 of Lethbridge Community. It provides you with access to services and events, swipe access to secured areas and dedicated rooms for specialized courses, and manages your and your Bridge Bucks funds.
You must fill out the . Once you have submitted the request, you will receive an email when the card is available to be picked up.
- Main campus students can pick up their student ID card in Turcotte Hall, in Room TH218. You will need to show an official photo ID, such as your passport, to pick up your card.
- Calgary campus students must select "Northern Campus 鈥 Calgary" when you fill out the online form and upload a photo. Students will be sent a follow-up email from the Calgary Campus office confirming that their printed ID card is ready for pick-up at the uLethbridge Calgary campus office during our in-person business hours.
uPass (Main campus only): Your uLethbridge Student ID card will serve as your transit pass. All students at the uLethbridge Main Campus are automatically enrolled in the , the cost of which (equal to one month pass plus a $5 administrative fee) will be included in tuition and fees for each semester.
- The UPass will provide you with unlimited access to local transit during any semesters for which you have registered in at least one credit course. You can use it during the summer as well, as long as you are registered in a summer course. There is an option to 鈥渙pt-out鈥 of the program and be reimbursed the fee .
