Indigenous Student Resources
Indigenous people have a long tradition of caring for the ill and helping people stay well, yet the shortage of health care professionals is particularly evident in rural and indigenous communities across Canada.

Meet Sianna Cherweniuk, our Indigenous Learning Facilitator
Oki/Taanishi/Tansi! My name is Sianna, and I am the Indigenous Learning Facilitator for the Faculty of Health Sciences! A little about me: I'm a proud alumni of the 免费福利资源在线看片 of Lethbridge, completing a B.A. in Psychology in 2020, and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Addiction in 2021, as well as a proud member of the Metis Nation of Alberta. My goal is to offer student advocacy and support to students, help facilitate on- and off-campus connections, and to encourage and facilitate academic excellence for Indigenous students.
I support all Indigenous students in the Faculty of Health Sciences - Addictions Counseling, Indigenous Health, Nursing, Public Health, Therapeutic Recreation, Health Science Graduate programs, as well as other students looking to apply or transfer into any of the aforementioned programs.
