Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Bridging Certificates

The Dhillon School of Business now offers post-bachelor certificates for CPA Bridging. Adding a certificate to your existing undergraduate education allows you to stand out in a career market where employers are searching for diversity and breadth and prepare you for entry into the .

Students can choose from three post-bachelor certificate options:

Accounting Fundamentals

The Post-Bachelor Certificate in Accounting Fundamentals (10 courses) is right for you if:

  • you have completed an approved undergraduate degree that meets previous degree admission requirements in a discipline other than accounting AND you are seeking a short, accounting-focused, undergraduate-level micro-credential to add to your educational portfolio/complete for your own personal interest OR you need to complete intro level courses for entry into CPA PEP (note you can subsequently ladder into the Advanced Accounting certificate upon successful Accounting Fundamentals program completion).

Advanced Accounting

The Post-Bachelor Certificate in Advanced Accounting (6 courses) is right for you if:

  • you have completed an approved undergraduate degree that meets previous degree admission requirements with an Accounting major, or substantially similar background AND need to complete the advanced level courses for entry into CPA PEP
    • Note: Dhillon School of Business will consider non-accounting degrees with substantial accounting courses for this certificate program on a case-by-case basis. After submitting their application for admission, such applicants are required to submit their to Dhillon School of Business for review to determine eligibility
  • you have successfully completed the Post-Bachelor Certificate in Accounting Fundamentals

Combined Certificates

The Combined Post-Bachelor Certificates in Accounting (16 courses) is right for you if:

  • you have completed an approved undergraduate degree that meets previous degree admission requirements in a discipline other than accounting AND need to complete the majority of courses for entry into into
