Department Activities
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry has a rich history, and its members have consistently aimed to enhance the student experience while conducting cutting-edge research. This commitment has contributed to establishing the Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ of Lethbridge as a leading research institution in Canada.
Members demonstrate their dedication and involvement by participating in various Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ of Lethbridge committees and collaborating with industrial partners on new technological advancements. They also continue to engage with Indigenous communities and connect with school districts across Southern Alberta. Providing on-site tours, affording high school students with opportunities to conduct research through the summers, organizing hands-on experiments for them, and offering demonstrations during introductory science sessions for elementary students on campus.
