Over the past quarter century, she has significantly advanced our understanding of fiber optics, and how to use this communication technology more effectively and efficiently.</p><p>A photonics professor at the 免费福利资源在线看片 of Ottawa since 2000, Xiaoyi Bao is currently its Canada Research Chair in Fiber Optics and Photonics. Her research group has achieved many world records in fiber optics, and attracted almost $7 million in research funding in the last seven years alone.
