��Ѹ��Դ��߿�Ƭ of Lethbridge Pronghorns forward Dustin Moore had a pair of assists as Canada clinched a spot in the semifinal round of the 2009 Winter Universiade men's hockey tournament with a 7-2 victory over Kazakhstan on Tuesday.

Moore assisted on a pair of second period goals, including the game-winner, and posted a plus-two rating as Canada swept through the preliminary portion of the event with a perfect 4-0 record. Defenceman Ryan Pottruff, Moore's Pronghorn teammate, also was a plus-two for the Canadians, who will now wait for a semifinal opponent to be determined from the other pool.

The Pronghorns are representing Canada as part of the Canada West all-star squad that was elected to play in the bi-annual event. This year's games are being held in Harbin, China.

Canada, as the top seed out of Group A, will meet the second seed from Group B, in Saturday's semifinal round. Kazakhstan is the second qualifier out of Group A. The top two seeds in Group B will be decided Wednesday as Russia, Slovakia and the United States all have one game to play to determine order. The gold and bronze medal finals will be held Sunday.
