The building's design and construction is focused on environmental responsibility and maximizes energy and water use, by collecting rainwater and holding it for use in toilets and irrigation and by using natural airflow and more efficient air-conditioning/heating systems i.e.) taking advantage of southern Alberta's abundant natural sunlight.
