鈥�Campus Collective Centre Fee - Supports the operations of the Campus Collective Centre. This is a flat fee assessed in the fall and winter terms, applicable on all campuses.

鈥�CKXU Fee - Supports the operations of the student radio station. The fee is applicable in all terms for students with main campus programs.

鈥�Lethbridge Public Interest Research Group (LPIRG) Fee - Supports the operations of the Lethbridge Public Interest Research Group. This is a flat fee assessed in the fall and winter terms, for students with main campus programs.

鈥�Meliorist Fee - Supports the operations of the student newspaper. Full time and part time rates exist, and the fee is applicable in allwinter terms for students on all campuses.

b.Program-related Fees

鈥�Canadian Nursing Association Annual Fee - Annual dues for students in a nursing program.

鈥�Education Professional Semester Practicum Fee - Additional fee for Professional Semester I or II enrolment to defray placements costs. (formally Student Practicum Travel Fee)

鈥�Faculty of Arts Equipment Rental Fee - Musical instruments, Art Equipment, New Media Equipment and Digital Audio Arts will have an associated fee to cover ongoing repair and maintenance. 鈥�Dhillon School of Business (DSB) experiential learning fee - This fee supports the ongoing licensing costs of several platforms which provide work-integrated learning opportunities to all Dhillon School of Business students. These platforms support the school's strategic inititatives, including a commitment to integrating experiential learning and professional development opportunities throughout the school's curriculum. This fee applies to all DSB students registered in the fall and winter terms.

鈥�Specialty Fees - There may be additional charges for field trip costs and for major specialty items in a particular class such as lab costs, lab manuals, art supplies, workbooks, and substantial photocopied materials that are retained by the student. Instructors will normally be able to estimate these costs for a particular class at the start of the term and students are entitled to a receipt upon payment for such costs. Students requested to pay additional fees to departments for materials and services not described in the above guidelines nor in individual class descriptions should contact the Dean鈥檚 Office of their Faculty or School concerning the authority for such assessments.

鈥�Tuition Differential Fee - Additional fee for Science, Education Practicum, and Faculty of Health Sciences courses.

c.Optional Service Fees

鈥�Account History Fee - $5 per request.

鈥�Administrative Processing Fee for Curriculum Detail - Fee paid by graduates for providing a detailed program curriculum report to third parties - $180.

鈥�Ancillary Services - Elevator Service Charge - This fee will be $650 and will be a direct cost recovery for mischief or misuse of a residence elevator which requires a service call for repair.

鈥�Ancillary Services - Smoking/Vaping Progressive Charge - This fee will be $100 for first offence, $250 for second offence, and $500 for third offence. This charge is to cover damage, cleaning, and fumigation costs should a student smoke or vape inside a residence space.

鈥�Campus ID Card Fee - Students鈥� first card is free; $5 for community users; flat fee set annually plus $5.00 UPASS replacement fee for replacement cards.

鈥�Campus Safety - Building Access Card Replacement Fee - covers the cost of replacement if a card is lost, stolen or physically damaged. The first card is provided to students and staff who require one free of charge. Replacement cards - $10.00.

鈥�Late Fee - Fee charged when deadlines are not met - $100 per course and/or transaction.

鈥�Library Fines - Charged fines may be recorded on student accounts.

鈥�Counselling Late Cancellation or No-show Fee - Students who do not attend a scheduled appointment and did not cancel the appointment one business day in advance will be charged a $10 fee. This fee will be posted directly to the student鈥檚 account.

鈥�Printed Official Transcript Fee - This fee of $17.50 per transcript would recover the cost of producing the transcript, including transcript paper, envelope, regular postage and labour.

鈥�Student Affairs - Visiting Student Authorization Processing Fee - This fee will be $100 per course taken through a Visiting Student Authorization (VSA). The fee will be levied on the course at the time the VSA application is approved, not at the time of completion.

鈥�Student Affairs - Verification of Graduation (Third Party) - This fee will be $20 per request by a third party (no students) to confirm that the alumni has received the degree they claim to have.

鈥�Student Affairs - Late Transfer Credit Assessment Fee - This fee will be $100 for each transfer credit request beyond the free time frame offered.

鈥�Student Affairs - Undergraduate Deferral Fee - This fee will be $50 on application deferral requests.
