Crane, Charles Lloyd
Charles Lloyd Crane, age 90, of Sun City West, Arizona passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Charles was born September 14, 1930.
Crane was among the U of L’s first professors in the Department of Art. After completing a BA and MA from Michigan State Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ and advanced graduate work at the Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ of Iowa, he joined the Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ in July 1969. Crane was an associate professor until his retirement in 2000. During that time, he also served as department chairman, was president of the Southern Alberta Art Gallery Association, and, in 1986, participated in the U of L’s exchange program with Hokkai-Gakuen Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ in Sapporo, Japan.
