The Jo and Anne Vanee Memorial Award was established in 2017 by Joyce Sakamoto and Bonnie Jarokosky in honour of their parents. The award recognizes a student in the Dhillon School of Business who embodies a spirit of compassion, kindness and volunteerism in support of fellow students.Ìý
To be eligible for this award, Dhillon School of Business students must meet the criteria listed below:
- Returning to full-time studies in the Fall 2026 term.
- Academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA) in the previous Fall/Winter terms.
- Demonstrated commitment to compassion, kindness and voluntarism in support of fellow students.
- Can be in any Dhillon School of Business undergraduate or graduate program.
- Selection is based on the applicant’s CV, complete academic record and a letter of support from a student peer or faculty member.Ìý
This award of $1,500 (minimum) will be payable upon confirmation of full-time enrolment in classes at the Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ of Lethbridge in the Fall and Winter terms following the granting of the award. A selection committee will be established by the Dean of the Dhillon School of Business.Ìý
