The ULSU Winter Health and Dental Opt-out is open for newly enrolled students or students who have upgraded to full-time status. If you are registered in three or more classes, you are a full-time student and automatically registered in the ULSU health and dental benefits.听
If you have alternate insurance coverage you may opt out of the ULSU benefits.听TO OPT OUT YOU MUST COMPLETE听THE ONLINE OPT-OUT FORM ON THE BRIDGE.听You can find the opt out form under the student page on your Bridge account.听 You must provide proof of your alternate insurance provider to opt out. The benefits are $261.68 for health and $135.00 for dental and the coverage runs until Aug. 31, 2026.
THE DEADLINE TO OPT OUT IS JANUARY 23, 2026.
Any full-time students from September are听NOT听eligible to opt out this semester.
