Kasia聽Sosnowski (she/her) is an artist from southern Alberta, Canada. In 2014, she graduated with a combined BFA in Art History & Museum Studies and Art Studio from the 免费福利资源在线看片 of Lethbridge. She has worked at the Banff Centre, the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, the Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge, and Medalta International Artist in Residence where she worked in preparatory/gallery installation, artist administration, and community building roles. She graduated with an MFA in Sculpture and Ceramics from York 免费福利资源在线看片 in 2023.

She has shown her work in galleries internationally and across Canada including The Esker Foundation (Calgary), Neutral Ground Artist Run Centre (Regina), Art Gallery of Hamilton (Hamilton), Stride Gallery (Calgary), Art M没r (Montreal), Art Gallery of Alberta (Edmonton), Corban Estate Arts Centre (New Zealand), the Yuill Family Gallery (Medicine Hat), and Southern Alberta Art Gallery (Lethbridge).聽

Sosnowski鈥檚 work聽explores the similarities between comedy and ceramic sculpture through use of聽timing, tension, absurdity, and visual-gags. These methods work to disarm the viewer in order to聽discuss more difficult subject matter around transgressive bodies, grief, and recovery.聽She is currently living, working, and maintaining her art practice in Calgary, Alberta聽as she works towards upcoming shows in 2026/2027.
