Incoming Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) Registration

Tip: Always include your name and uLethbridge ID number in all of your emails to ensure a quick response.

Step 1. Complete the International Research Student Registration Form

By March 30, 2026

  • Enter all information accurately
  • Enter your name as it appears on your passport
  • Complete the application electronically. Handwritten submissions will not be accepted.
  • Do NOT use accent marks or special characters 
  • Email to minadk@uleth.ca

Step 2. The Registrar's Office will send you the following

  1. uLethbridge ID number
  2. Information to set up your student account (Bridge and email)

Step 3. Complete mandatory Sexual Violence Prevention Training

Enrol for the E-learning workshop

If you have not completed the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Prevention Training on Moodle, a registration hold will be placed on your account. Be sure to complete this training online to avoid any delays.  

Step 4. Request a uLethbridge ID card

All ID card requests must be submitted online. 

  • A photo (head shot with neutral background) must be uploaded with the request. 

  • You may smile in the photo.

  • Your uLethbridge ID card will be used as your city transit pass (UPass) and other services.
