By taking into account music perception, psychology, and mathematics, it develops a new process for the automated transcription of rhythms from musical performances.
Georg has published in peer-reviewed journals, and has presented at a number of international conferences (ICMC, LAC, ICSC). He wrote numerous algorithms for music analysis and composition that are implemented in his open source software project called chunking.
