Advisory — Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ of Lethbridge to raise Progress Pride Flag at annual ceremony
The Ãâ·Ñ¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ÔÚÏß¿´Æ¬ of Lethbridge is proud to recognize Pride Month under the theme Allyship in Action Now and will gather the campus community for the annual raising of the Progress Pride Flag on Tuesday, June 9.
WHAT: Progress Pride Flag raising ceremony
WHEN: 11 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., Tuesday, June 9.
WHERE: Students’ Union Ballroom and Students’ Union Bus Loop
The campus community is invited to the Students’ Union Ballroom for a program that features remarks from ULethbridge representatives, followed by the introduction of the 2026 VandenHoek Schlachter Pride Award recipient
(11:45 a.m.).
The group will then make its way outdoors to the Bus Loop for the flag raising ceremony (11:55 a.m.), followed by a community barbecue (12:15 p.m.).
* Media are invited to attend all aspects of the ceremony. Interviews will be available with Martha Mathurin-Moe (Vice-Provost, Accessibility, Belonging and Community) and the recipient of the VandenHoek Schlachter Pride Award at 12:10 p.m.
